Domaine de la Douaix is one of the few producers of white Corton - that is, a white wine from the Corton vineyard, but outside the Corton-Charlemagne appellation. Complex - yes; French - a lot, and charming indeed! I love those idiosyncrasies that make Burgundy Burgundy.

This wine is clearly carved from the limestone soil of the Corton hillside, offering plenty of mineral punch softened by conference pear, peach and quince. It has a mineral expression with a very attractive and lively vivacity.
