Born into a family of winegrowers in Cravant, Bernard Baudry, after studying oenology in Beaune, was first (5 years) a wine consultant at the Tours laboratory alongside Jacques PUISAIS. He decided to set up his own business in 1975 at the head of a small estate of 2 hectares. Today, the farm has 30 hectares spread over different types of soil. This diversity allows the application of parcel-based vinification principles where each wine is distinguished by the nature of its terroir. The vineyard is managed without weed killers or synthetic chemicals.
