The Pouilly-Fumé Les Cris will fully express itself in the company of all fishes, especially cooked in sauce (red mullet, pike-perch, pike, etc.), of certain fine delicatessens, or simply of goat cheeses.
Harvested on one of the best limestone slopes of the appellation, with a south-western exposure, this wine is the most racy and the most typical of the range. The "Cris" is the local term for "limestone stones planted with vines". Elegant, the aromatic range presents first fruity notes (pineapple, citrus, peach) then mineral. After 1 or 2 years, these aromas become more refined and are more and more marked by the minerality of the terroir.
The expression in the mouth is powerful, well-structured, with a lot of fat. An excellent balance between the freshness of the nose and the concentration in mouth is acquired thanks to a perfect maturity of the grapes.
