    Domaine Trévallon

The estate is located in the village of Saint-Etienne-du-Grès, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, on the northern slopes of the Alpilles, a limestone massif with jagged ridges. The 20-hectare vineyard is set in a vibrant, unspoilt landscape where the vines are perfectly integrated into the enchanting garrigue. They grow alongside holm oaks, olive and almond trees. The white vines, a minority (only 2 hectares), consist of 45% Marsanne, 45% Roussanne and 10% Chardonnay.

    More info...

His father, René Dürrbach, was a painter and sculptor. His mother was an upholsterer. They were close friends of Pablo Picasso, Robert Delaunay, Fernand Léger...

For his part, Eloi Dürrbach considered architecture. He soon realised that this career would not allow him to fully satisfy his thirst for freedom.

He wanted to become a winemaker. With the proceeds from the sale of a tapestry his mother had given him, he was able to buy several acres. It was 1973.
