Wine Details

Tasting:

Pretty fruit wine, juicy and dense. Spherical and ample mouthfeel well enhanced by a nice acidity. This is a seductive wine to which the Nielluciu brings all the seriousness by a slightly spicy definition.

Technique:

Manual harvesting, transport of the grapes in 300 kg boxes. The destemmed grapes are placed in a concrete tank. After a pre-fermentation cold maceration of 48 hours, the fermentation starts naturally. A light daily pumping over to water the cap is carried out, any form of extraction is proscribed in order to preserve the fruit aromas and finesse.

The wine is aged for six months in concrete tanks and bottled after a light filtration but without fining. Only SO2 is used; the total dosage is shown on the label. Short maceration and limited aging time give this wine excellent drinkability.
