This Cuvée Prestige comes from a single parcel of 2.6 ha planted with vines over 50 years old in the village of Champigny. The vines grow on this famous refractory stone: the Champigny Stone (Campus Ignis: Terre de Feu).

The property was bought in 1932 by the Ratron family who for 4 generations have expanded and modernized the vineyard. The Cabernet Franc planted on the lacustrine limestone gives the wine an extraordinary ageing potential for the appellation and especially for the Prestige vintage.
