The Domaine de Ravanès is located northwest of Bézers on a gravelly clay-limestone terroir bordering the Orb. Pioneers of qualitative re-grape varieties in Languedoc, notably with the introduction of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot in the early 70s, Guy and Marc Benin have been producing top-of-the-range vins de pays here since 1978, with strong, original and atypical characters.
