WINE AVAILABLE
(75+ year old vines). This too is a very ripe wine in the context of the 2017 vintage with its lightly wooded nose of plum, spice, earth and forest floor. As usual, there is more power and mid-palate concentration to the sappy medium-bodied flavors that also exude a discreet minerality onto the more complex and slightly more structured finale. As it usually is, this is an excellent Gevrey villages and well worth your interest.

Since 1998, Sylvie Esmonin, an agricultural engineer, has been cultivating 7 hectares of vines, including the very prestigious Clos Saint Jacques. Her know-how in the vineyard and her precise vinifications, in a classic style, give birth to remarkable wines, certainly among the most beautiful of the village.
