Sapid and enticing, with surgical precision, on white flowers (elderberry, hawthorn), subtle aniseed notes of fennel, acacia honey and menthol, reveals exceptional fatness balanced by confounding minerality, and ends in apotheosis on a generous, very persistent finish and beautiful freshness.

The Domaine de Ravanès is located northwest of Bézers on a terroir of clay-limestone gravel on the banks of the Orb. Pioneers of qualitative re-grape varieties in Languedoc, notably with the introduction of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon or Petit Verdot from the early 70s, Guy and Marc Benin have been producing top-of-the-range, strong-character, original and atypical vins de pays here since 1978.

The Domaine Ravanès is located to the north-west of Bézers on a gravelly clay-limestone terroir bordering the river Orb.
