A full-bodied, complex red, with red fruit and spice on the palate.

Made from 100% nielluccio vines, this wine offers fresh red fruit aromas with hints of cherry and grenadine. Fresh, taut and persistent on the palate, with silky tannins.

Tasting :

Relatively light color, with a nose marked by fresh red fruit. Taut, refreshing palate with notes of grenadine and morello cherry. Good persistence on an acidic, slightly tannic structure. A good aperitif wine, it goes well with charcuterie and tapas. For meals, it's best with grilled meats.

Technical :

Harvested by hand, the grapes are transported in 300 kg boxes. The de-stemmed grapes are placed in a concrete vat. After 48 hours of pre-fermentation cold maceration, fermentation begins naturally. The cap is lightly pumped over daily, and all forms of extraction are avoided to preserve the finesse of the tannins.

The wine is aged for at least 24 months and bottled without filtration or fining. Only SO2 is used, and the total dose is indicated on the label.
