A blend of Cabernet Franc and Côt, it has been aged for 18 months in a barrel.

Harvested from a stony clay soil, this unique red wine is full of character, making it a surprising and atypical Touraine blend. It has silky tannins revealing vanilla and red fruit notes.

The Domaine

This 7-hectare farm is located south of the Loire in the heart of the Montlouis-sur-Loire.

The soil is worked mechanically and manually to remove weeds, ridges, harrows, stubbles, vine shoots and squeegees. No weedkillers are used. The grapes are harvested selectively by hand.

No chemical yeasts are used for fermentation, nor enzymes for settling. The wines are matured using the traditional method (in barrels and demi-muids).
