Originaire du Jura, Stéphane Robert vit à Saint-Péray depuis 1983. Au début des années 90, il consacre toute son énergie à créer de toute pièce un domaine viticole, ce qui explique aujourd'hui son grand morcellement. Les vendanges sont manuelles, avec tri à la vigne. Egrappage partiel à la cuvaison, en fonction des terroirs et des cuvées; vinifications en petites cuves inox thermorégulées, par des levures indigènes exclusivement.
