Pentacrine is the name of a small star-shaped fossil found in certain soils.

The cuvée, a blend of different terroirs from the Vergisson rock on clawed limestone, is vinified in large containers (demi-muids) to enhance freshness.

The wine expresses mineral tension, with a mineral nose and a taut, almost crystalline palate.

Roger Saumaize is geboren tussen de wijnstokken en deelt zijn passie met zijn vrouw Christine Michelin.

In 2005 zetten ze een nieuwe stap in het beheer van hun wijngaard door over te schakelen op biodynamische wijnbouw.

Hier wordt veel belang gehecht aan het behoud van het bacteriële leven en de ontwikkeling van de diversiteit van de flora en microflora, die allemaal essentieel zijn voor de productie van kwaliteitsdruiven.
